DOI TAO LAKE

Doi Tao Lake is a hug man made body of water which was created by the building of the Bhumibol Dam. It is 130 kilometre southwest of Chiang Mai (about 2 hours from the city). There, you can feel the most quiet places in the countryside of northern Thailand and you will see how the Thai people live and work at the ricefields and the fruit orchards by taking a floating hut or a boat along the lake. It is a good place for vacation because you will really feel relaxed with a fresh atmosphere and clean air. Here are some pictures and video at Doi Tao Lake, enjoy your trip at Doi Tao next time!
